Why are individuals names not appearing exactly as I've requested them?

Individual names are provisioned from the Data Warehouse, which is based on inputs from Human Resources. To change your "preferred name", please visit the My Cal Poly Portal's "Personal Info" tab.

How are working titles handled?

Human Resources is the master source of classifications and working titles. MPP titles are listed as working title and staff are listed based on their unit classification.

Will part time employees be listed in the directory?

Yes, part time and full time employees will be listed.

Will there continue to be a hard copy directory?

Yes, ITS will continue to produce a hard copy directory. It will be organizationally based (e.g. college and departments) with the individual faculty and staff within them alphabetically.

What browser do you recommend I use?

I logged in, clicked "View Report", and saved my bill to my computer. How do I open it?

Why are some lines charged $20.00 and not others?

What browser do you recommend I use?

Firefox works best on both Windows and Macintosh computers. Internet Explorer has known problems with buttons not fully rendering. In Safari, these buttons don't appear at all.

I logged in, clicked "View Report", and saved my bill to my computer. How do I open it?

The file is a PDF. You should open it with Adobe Acrobat reader. Macintosh users can open it in Preview or Adobe Acrobat. If this is the first time you've opened a PDF on your computer, you may be asked to select an application to use.

Why are some lines charged $20.00 and not others?

ITS charges $20.00 per month for all wired telephones. If a line is used by a full time state employee (faculty or staff), then ITS pays for the monthly fee out of the General Fund. The ITS General Fund also pays for one line per each state department. If you feel your bill is incorrect, please contact us. Additional phones, including those used by part time employees, are the responsibility of the campus department.
